Challenge of Materials
If a Church member feels that item(s) are not appropriate for the collection for failing to meet selection criteria they should bring the item(s) to the attention of the Library Director.
If disagreement about an item cannot be readily solved, the matter will be forwarded to the Church Deacons. If two-thirds of the Deacons concur, item(s) may be removed from the collection.
The Library Director may request from the member, in writing, their name, contact information, and their objections to the materials. The issue must be submitted in writing, with additional details of attempted resolution(s), when any issue is forwarded to the Deacons. Questions of doctrine or Scripture are referred to the Pastor for his consideration.
